Dr. Charous has been in practice for over 15 years. Because we were seeing so many patients who required weight loss in order to have surgery and improve their overall health we decided to start a weight loss program which in turn created Active Body Wellness. Our goal is to help clients achieve their weight loss goals and promote a healthy life style. In addition we offer BOTOX® Cosmetic, lip fillers, facial products and supplements.
Daniel Charous, MD - Owner
Dr. Charous grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He attended Cornell University for his undergraduate degree, and holds his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine. After completing his residency at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA as an Ear, Nose & Throat surgeon Dr. Charous moved to the valley approximately 16 years ago to practice medicine as an ENT surgeon.
As a board certified physician of the American Board of Otolaryngology he is an active staff member at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Surgery Center. He is past president of the Arizona Society of Otolaryngology. Dr. Charous is fluent in English and Spanish.
Andrew Iarocci, MD
Dr. Iarocci is a comprehensive Ear, Nose & Throat Specialist. He completed residency at Tulane University where he developed a wide array of skills to treat various head and neck conditions ranging from chronic sinusitis to thyroid malignancies. He is also passionate about facial aesthetics and reconstruction. He offers consultation services on various cosmetic procedures and has advanced skills in reconstructing facial defects secondary to malignancies, congenital malformations and trauma.
Dr. Iarocci was born and raised in Carefree, Arizona. He received degrees from Gonzaga University and Creighton University School of Medicine. He is delighted to be back in AZ and looks forward to providing exceptional care to the community he knows and loves.
Jacqueline McLeod, FNP-C, Family Nurse Practitioner
Jacqueline McLeod FNP-C was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She received her Associates (2004) and Bachelor’s (2005) Degree in Nursing from Ferris State University. Jackie graduated from Grand Canyon University in early 2022 with a master’s degree in Family Nurse Practitioner. She has over 17 years’ experience in emergency room and trauma services for both adult and pediatric patients as a nurse. Jackie is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is certified in facial aesthetics.
Jackie is married with two children and enjoys hiking and reading. She spends much of her free time as an active hockey mom and riding horses with her daughter.
Yvonne Perez, MA, Licensed Aesthetician
Yvonne Perez was born and raised in Glendale, Arizona. She has built her career as a Medical Assistant and became a licensed Aesthetician after graduating from Avalon Institute in 2021. Yvonne has a passion for making others feel comfortable and happy in their own skin.
When she is not working, Yvonne enjoys spending time with her three children.
Belinda Cano, Practice Administrator
Belinda was born and raised in New Mexico and has a degree from Western New Mexico University. She has worked with Dr. Charous for more than 15 years and has recently received her certification in weight management so she can better assist patients with their weight loss journey. When not at work, Belinda enjoys hiking and cycling with her husband and spending time with her grandchildren.
