Is PHYSIQ safe?!

The device itself is extremely safe and comfortable because of its temperature consistency. Tissue treated by PHYSIQ quickly reaches and maintains its therapeutic temperature without creating unsafe heat spikes. This, coupled with simultaneous contact cooling, means the skin's surface temperature rises only minimally during treatment.

What should I expect before, during and after my treatment?

BEFORE your PHYSIQ treatment. if necessary, you will want to shave the targeted area to avoid any discomfort with the diode laser.

How is PHYSIQ performed?

The provider will assess and prepare the area to be treated, apply the applicators to the skin with a gel pad and comfortable elastic band to hold them in place, then adjust the settings on the device to begin treatment. The patient is left to relax in the room during treatment.

What do patients feel during PHYSIQ treatment?

The patient should feel warm but comfortable during treatment. DURING your treatment, you may feel warmth at the applicator site but PHYSIQ's energy delivery and unique patient control features ensure optimal comfort. The SDM technology is used to elevate the tissue temperature to achieve the desired result. The sapphire crystal plate in contact with the skin cools the surface, creates comfort, and protects the skin. The EMS will target muscle to flex and tone the desired areas.

What is the aftercare post treatment?

AFTER your treatment, it is important to massage the area with the PHYSIQ body lotion that was designed to complement your body treatment. One bottle of the PHYSIQ body lotion will allow you to continue this massage, twice daily, between treatments. The area may feel warm for a few hours post-treatment but this is normal. Most feel a great pump after the treatment because of the muscle stimulation.

How long is a single treatment?

A single treatment with all four applicators runs for a maximum of 30 minutes. Smaller areas may take less time.

Can I treat more than one area in a single session?

PHYSIQ has four applicators which may be used in sets of two on multiple areas in one single session. A maximum of three areas may be treated in one day. PHYSIQ can be used to treat the abdomen, legs, arms, buttocks, hips, back and flanks (love handles).

When will results be noticed?

Although results may be noticed after only the first treatment, the PHYSIQ protocol is administered in a series of 5 treatments. The PHYSIQ protocol is 5 sessions per area, 1 treatment every week for 5 weeks.
